During the first scanning of the prospects you uploaded, a comparison is made between what is stated in your document and what is on the prospect's LinkedIn.

For example, the trigger will activate if your table indicates that John McGregor works at company ABC, but LinkedIn shows he works at company XYZ.

Also, this trigger can activate, for example, if the companies' names were not specified in the source sheet or during the field matching.

Often, this can lead to discovering quite a few activated triggers during the first scan.

What to do next and how you can use this

  1. Go to the details of the prospect who has triggered alerts for changing companies.

2. Click on the Setup settings button and verify the current data. Ensure the company name matches what is listed on LinkedIn.

Also, add the website of the new company if necessary.

For example, you can find the website of the prospect's new company on the corporate page of LinkedIn.

3. Use this method for all prospects where this trigger has been activated.

On the next scan, our platform will compare the current data with new changes, and you will receive fresh triggers. The trigger usually appears much less frequently during the second round.
